Monday, Dec. 29

Haven't posted in forever... but here I go. :)

So, basically, I finished all of my exams, and I have finally come to my mother's house for some rest. I've been playing my DS almost every single day for long hours, being extremely glad that I've finally gotten it back since I'm at my mom's house. ^^ I've been resting up, am still caught up on Bleach (199 was freaking awesome... if you know me well, you would know exactly why. ^^ 200 was also amazing. ;) ), and am catching up on Kurozuka (I'm going to watch 9 tonight.) It's sad that it was only 12 episodes long, I want to see more of it. It seems to have close resemblances to Wolf's Rain, so much so that I can barely believe it. XD

I'm getting ready for the New Year by preparing to stay up all night (not hard at all XD) and to watch the brilliant glass ball drop down in Times Square, signifying the coming in of a new year. I'm glad I get to watch it from the bedroom instead of watching it in Times Square while packed in like sardines in a can, I mean, people always fill up that place and some for the New Year's event there. XD It's already packed, and to multiply that by 10 equals instant chaos (or more like instant cramping.) Oh well. The people who go there endure that either way, just to see it live. They like it there, I like it here, so we're all happy. ;) I've been doing great, and I can't wait until summer, where I get even more time at my mom's house. However, this summer is very different from other summers. Since I have a cat, I need to consider bringing him to my mom's house, since I don't want him to not see me for a whole two-ish months. I need to see if mom's alright with it, because I really want him to be able to come here. I'd have to keep him in my room of course, and I'd probably have to make a lot of arrangements. But it really is worth it. ;) Also, he's a bit skittish with other people, so I hope it will help with that problem of his. Either way, I've been doing great, and I'm getting rested for my second semester of school, which will replace my Fine Arts class with P.E., and my free period with Tech Programming class. (Which means my free period at the end of the day is gone. -.- Oh well. It's worth it.) I hope to do even better this semester than last semester. Well, see you next post! ;)

Wednesday, Dec. 3

I haven't posted in a long time... o.o Time to post again!

Well, over the Thanksgiving holidays, I went to my mom's house. When I came into my room for the first time since Christmas last year, I couldn't believe what I found... A 32' widescreen Samsung TV! It was very nice and clean and new, and I like it a lot. It got me thinking about this being my possible home for when I go to college... I'm not completely sure if I'm staying at my grandmother's or not, but all I know is that I want to go to a good college. I enjoyed a very nice Thanksgiving dinner with my mother while watching Fiddler on the Roof and The Godfather Part I. They were both very good movies, and I enjoyed spending time with my mother again! I enjoyed the time I spent with her there, and I helped her with some of her work there. This Christmas, when I go back, I hope to do more for her.

I've been getting my fair share of homework lately, which has almost eradicated my time to be able to post regularly. Also, my braces are not being checked until the 23rd, which is ironically the same day that the 200th episode of Bleach comes out. If my braces (at least my top ones) come off on the exact SAME day that Bleach 200 comes out, I will be overjoyed!!!! XD I can't imagine something that good happening, so I'm hoping and praying that it will. My katana still hasn't come in yet, and if it's not in by Christmas, my mother told me she would contact the store again. Meanwhile, it has its own time to get here... I'm perfectly fine with that. As long as it's not damaged or destroyed or anything else bad happening to it, it can take as long as it needs to take. I'm glad that many good things have been happening lately, including more personal revelations that have been helping me with my relationship with God and the people around me. Although I've had my share of bad things lately as well, the good things are put in priority, and I am still happy now. I'm thinking more about other things than the computer 24/7, and I'm wondering about other things I need to do to prepare for the future, especially since the economy looks like it's plummeting fast. I'm not sure what the economy will be like when I am 18, but I am hoping and praying that it will get better. I am very happy about the things that are going on right now minus the economy, but God always has a plan for everything. In order to get through any obstacle, faith in God will always get you through.

Tuesday, Nov. 11

Again, haven't posted in a long time. I'm really busy usually, so I'm going to have to post less often...

Now on to the updates. I pretty much have gotten from good to great, although my braces still aren't off yet and my katana may not come until 2009. So, with that said, I can get on with details. One of my friends that I RP with a lot, who goes by Cogi, has finally returned after about almost a year of absence. I am very happy about that, because I had missed them so much and missed RPing with them. I also have agreed to create a manga for Mrytu and her Roleplay story, because I liked it so much. I also joined there and I still RP there as well as with Cogi. I have praised God and thanked Him so much for all the good things that are happening lately, and I know that with Him, I can get through all things.

My mom is planning to take me back home for Thanksgiving, so I'm looking forward to being able to help her with things! I enjoy the trips back, and they are refreshing. Well, I'll see you around, and I hope to be able to post more often! ;)

Saturday, Oct. 25

Yes... so I've gone a long time without blogging again... *sigh* I've been getting much more busy lately, and I have had no time to fit in my usual blogging posts. Until I get less busy, it might stay that way... '.'

So, what all has been going on? I'll tell you. I've decided to try forum RPing with Mari and two of her friends, and it was great. My RP has hit a wall, though, so I have to wait for someone to reply... however, I've gone on and started accepting requests to illustrate their RPs, manga style. It's taking forever, since I get sidetracked with other things, but I am determined to continue. In the BNotes range, everything's relatively normal, I guess... I got to change my user title by buying it with a new currency called "Yen" that goes up by five whenever you make a counting post. It's pretty nice for a new feature. ;) And yes, my katana and my costume for Halloween have still not come in yet... And I just discovered what Cream soda tasted like when I went to a Sailor Moon party with one of my friends and her other friends- liquid sweet butterscotch. It's my new favorite, besides Dr. Pepper. :D As for my flu shot, it was a first. The office was full of people getting shots, since a lot of schools were out of school that Friday. Because of that, they could not spend time with each individual patient, and had to give each person their shots quickly so that they could get to the next person. That being said, I was no exception. I decided to give what everyone had been telling me to do a try for once- don't tense up, and don't look. I managed to do both of those, and as soon as the nurse was next to me, she turned around and was walking out. I had felt a pressure, but it was nothing like my previous shots, where I had tensed up. I didn't feel a thing. It almost felt like I hadn't had a band aid on. I asked her if I didn't need a band aid, and she said that I had one on already, and I looked and saw it. Both my grandmother, the nurse, and I laughed at the fact that what my grandmother had been telling me all these years was true... XD But yeah. I hope all of mine are like that for years to come. ;) On to Bleach now. 190 was the start of the canon arc, and wow, was it amazing! I mean, if they could do it any more perfectly than they did, they would. Everything was perfectly drawn, perfectly animated, perfectly synced, and perfectly full of win. Although 65% of the episode was flaskbacks, and 10% of the episode was the opening and ending songs (the ending song was 8 minutes long), the 25% of real episode that was left was well worth the episode. A lot of other people may not think so, but I stand firm with my opinion. ^_^

So, pretty much, things have been going great. Not bad, and not perfect. Just normally great! ^_' The Lord is still good, and will always be so good. Amen.

Friday, Oct. 10

Wow. Rotfl. I haven't posted in such a long time... forgive me, please. Bleach Notes, school, my new Shinigami Halloween costume, new pictures I'm drawing and old unfinished ones I'm finishing, and other things have been taking up precious time that I've previously had to make blog entries. So, having said that, I will start trying harder to post more often. Maybe not every day, but as much as possible.

First thing's first- Bleach 190 marks the restart of the Hueco Mundo Arc from where it left off on episode 167. Needless to say, I'm excited out of my skin. This excitement actually highly rivals the excitement I had for seeing 162, the famous Ichigo vs. Ulquiorra battle. I simply cannot wait to see 190! Also, thanks to the new time slot Bleach airs on, it is now possible for me to watch it on the same day it comes out. Tell me something, anything, that could get better, and I might not believe you. God truly rules. XD

As for normal home things, everything is generally ok. My mom's going on a cruise in November, so I wish her a good vacation. ^_' I'm getting a Shinigami costume, as I mentioned above, for Halloween to dress up as a Shinigami. I forgot to mention the sandals to my mother, so I'll just ask her for them later. I can deal without the sandals. XD Ever since StrongRad subbed the Bleach: Fade to Black movie preview that I had translated almost a good month and a half ago, and also since they have been adding new animes to the site, there has been major traffic. And I mean major. At least 3 or 4 new members joined every day, bearing a strong contrast to how it was before. Currently, the site is down now, as it is moving to a new server because of the traffic.

On the 17th, I have to go get a flu shot... however, this is actually surprising at the fact that my grandmother actually told me. I'm glad she told me, so that I can be ready, and not have to pinch myself every time I go to the doctor because I don't know if I'm getting a shot or not. Thank you very much, Mimi...

My grades are ok now, and I have nothing below a C, but I still kind of need to bring those Cs up. Overall, I'm doing pretty good, I guess.

Monday, Sept. 29

Wow. I really haven't been keeping up, have I? *Smacks* I need to keep this up better than I am doing now.

So pretty much, I found a new Christian forum that I've joined onto. It's absolutely gigantic, and it has every topic possibly imaginable. I really like it so far, and it seems very friendly. I hope to meet some more Christians and talk with them sometimes. I still haven't gotten the katana yet, either. Our water heater hasn't been fixed, but we still have cold water, so we're forced to go heat water up on the stove if we want to take a warm bath. I have many tests this week (at least one per day starting Wednesday), and I even had a pop quiz today in Biology. Today, I get picked up early so that I can get my braces checked out. They were supposed to be removed over half a year ago, but they said that there's something that they've overlooked, so they're trying to fix that now. Which means we're probably looking at another year or more for this to be fixed. That would make a total of five and a half years with braces... oh well. At least my teeth will be in good shape by the time I'm a Senior in college! ^_'

Wednesday, Sept. 25

I haven't posted in two days... my bad! I've had tons of homework, and been pretty busy with other things. Also, just to note, we now have no running water in our home. Our water heater has broken, which means that we would have no hot water as it is, but the hot water heater is also leaking. So, as a result, my grandfather had to go turn the water that was going into the house off so that it wouldn't leak and cause water damage and skyrocketing water bills. There are now pots and ice chests speckling the house, filled with water. The problem is, the water heater in this house is so old, they don't even make water heaters like it anymore. Not even close. So, we're not sure when (or if) we will get hot, running water back, but we will just have to pray for it. I also still have not gotten the katana.

Monday, Sept. 22

Well, over the weekend, I was busy with many things, including monster optional assignments to try and bring up my grades in two subjects. So... yeah. That's about it. I'm also still waiting for my katana.

Today happens to be the First Day of Fall/Autumn, which I also recognize as Senna's Day. (She was the main character in the first Bleach movie.) She's my fourth favorite character out of all of Bleach. Her Zanpakuto is Mirokumaru, whose power is of the wind element, but there's a twist- the wind she summons is adorned with hundreds of fall leaves swirling around everywhere. She is free-spirited, and her favorite color is red. This speaks volumes to me about how she pretty much represents the entire season of fall, therefore, I chose this day as a special remembrance day for her. May her memories in the minds of Bleach fans never fade.~

Friday, Sept. 19

Well... yesterday marked the last day for 3 whole weeks that I will be able to watch Bleach. It's taking a break because of the new time slot that it has been assigned to (it will now air every Tuesday in Japan instead of Wednesday, so that means I will watch Bleach every Wednesday now), so that means I will probably be reading Zombie Powder, and re-reading some events in the Bleach manga while it's gone.

Well, Mimi wasn't too pleased last night when my mom told her my grade in Biology. She fussed at me three different times, and threatened that I'm really in trouble if I don't bring my grades up... so I will now also have to do some extra optional assignments in Biology and English to bring up my grades. That cuts even more time out from my usual activities, and yet again, miraculously fits the time slot that Bleach is not aired. Isn't the Lord good? And even more, I just remembered that my last period is not a class, so that means I might be able to get my appointment for the orthodontist back today, if my time can be changed to the latest time possible. Again, the Lord is good.

Wednesday, Sept. 17

Well, another day. Nothing interesting has been happening... other than the obvious infinite homework I've been getting... and also my la montha... but nothing much else to speak of. It's just another day that God's given me!

Tuesday, Sept. 16

Happy Mexican Independence Day!

So basically... both Mrytu and olomonkey joined on the same place I joined on to talk.... it was a very great day today. I had a Geometry test today, and I don't know how good I did on it... And at my last period, I got TONS of homework, which I need to get to right now. I thought I could've made it through a day without homework, but I should have known that was impossible... Oh well. This pretty much concludes one of my shortest posts in a while... Oh yeah, and my katana that my mom ordered me should be coming in this week, other than that, everything's normal again.

Monday, Sept. 15

Wow. School turned out to be closed Friday, again because of the hurricane. I used that time Friday to finish my rough draft of my essay for English, so that I can be ahead and do a smaller amount of homework to ease my burden. I also found a new promo video for the new Bleach movie- Fade to Black- on the official Japanese website. And, not only that, but with the help of jTango I even subbed it (in a Word document) by myself! If you're wondering what jTango is, it's a Japanese translating website where you just type in any Japanese or English word, and it translates it for you! Here's the website: http://www.glpwd.com/jtango-web/search.action
I've tried to download it from the stream so that I can add subs to the actual video, and I never got more than just the visual part of it with no sound, but at school today, I managed to download it perfectly! :) I will sub it once I figure out how to.... So yeah... not very much other than that going on now. I also have to work on getting some service hours really soon...

Thursday, Sept. 11

Wow. The hurricane prevented me from posting at all for the past couple of weeks. Our house had many trees down, and we had no electricity until recently. It was very hard living without electricity, as we had to learn to synchronize with the sun's schedule instead of our own, and we had to eat just what we had instead of what we wanted. There were many helicopters and ambulances that could be heard going up and down nearby streets. I had many things to do once I got electricity back, including letting my family know if we had any damage. That is why I haven't posted in such a long time- I will now try and keep up my normal schedule of posting.

Of course, since the break, we had no school for a long time. Which means that, since we missed all of those days, we have homework. And lots of it. I managed to get to watch Bleach: The Diamond Dust Rebellion while we had no school after the storm, and I didn't like it at first. I analyzed and thought about it more, though, and grew to like it more than I first thought. My friend Mrytu has also watched it and likes it as well. I plan on watching it again once I have more time so that I can grow to the feel of the movie. Also, today happens to be the normal day that I watch Bleach each week, and the storm hasn't changed that. ^^ 187 is today. So far, everything seems to be coming back to normal now! I hope that the next hurricane that's forming in the Gulf is nowhere near the strength that this one was.

Tuesday, Aug. 26

Monday, I happened to have a teacher that told us what was homework for yesterday and today... and that started it all last night. I then found another teacher's schedule that she had posted on Blackboard and she included the homework for the entire week. Since I knew that my birthday party was coming up, I decided to do it all. Yes, I did all of the homework I found, minus some project thing that I didn't understand- I know I'll understand it soon once the teacher tells us about it. So, since I did that, I stayed up well until about 11 o'clock. I was almost late yesterday morning for lack of sleep, but thank the Lord for nutritional drinks. I drank two of them, and managed to get to school that morning nice and relaxed. If I find any more homework schedules, I'll be sure to do them, too! I'm trying to have as little homework as possible on Thursday and Friday in order to make final preparations for my party.

I couldn't post Tuesday's because of the reason above, and because I surprisingly had even more homework last night. It's like the never ending abyss... you climb a long way out, but you stay inside indefinitely... >.> Oh well. Hurricane Gustav seem to be bringing a huge reaction now, and everyone's already talking about evacuation and everything... I miss the old days where, when a tropical storm came around, it was on the news for about 5 seconds and then you never heard about it again. Now, any hurricane or tropical storm is over-covered and way too publicized. I don't feel this way about Gustav, however. It seems that this one may be different than the others, and people are now taking storms much more seriously. My birthday party is particularly being affected, in that my friends may have to stay at my house to evacuate instead of just coming and leaving. We'll see more about this as it comes, and I hope my next birthday isn't as ominous a time as this one.

Over the weekend and Monday, Aug. 25

Ok, my whole weekend was spent trying to get ready for my birthday party next weekend. I had to vacuum, put some things out of my room, move my bed to a different place for more space, and I also had to dust my furniture and stuff. I plan to do more during the week this week to keep it up and do a little more, so that everything can be nice for my birthday. I'm still going to clean more little by little this week, so the cat's fur won't be a problem. XD I have lots of things to do and some people to keep up with for my birthday, so that it can turn out to be a great party for everyone! ^^

So today..... more and more homework. Just a normal, simple day with more homework in my To Do List than there is water in Niagara Falls. I'm trying to keep myself motivated, with my birthday coming up, to do all of my homework, but I also think about the time after my birthday. Bleach only comes out once a week, but I'm also watching Chobits now (I had stalled it in order to catch up to Bleach) and I'm trying to read Zombie Powder (Kubo Tite, the creator of Bleach, made this before he made Bleach) occasionally. However, since my grandmother took my home computer away, I can't read Zombie Powder much anymore. I'm going to have to try and read it occasionally on my school computer I guess. It's going to be hard finding time for Zombie Powder, since the school blocks it for some reason (Probably because it's not school related XD). But either way, I'm successfully juggling 2 animes, one manga, and truckloads of homework, so I guess I'm doing pretty well. ^^

Friday, Aug. 22

Yesterday was pretty normal, besides the fact that I went to bed at about 11 o'clock. I had a lot of homework, so I didn't really have any time to blog. Also, Mrytu couldn't make it to the library yesterday, because her mom managed to get out of the meeting (it wasn't important things they were discussing). Also, I watched Bleach yesterday. It was good!

I'm so glad it's Friday! I have a little work to do over the weekend, but it's not too much. I almost fell asleep in Theology II because I was so tired from going to sleep late... but at least we don't have much to do over the weekend! All I have to do over the weekend is make an animated dragon for extra credit in geometry, and also draw some pictures that I've owed Mrytu for a while now. But, that's not too much. I'll be able to finish most of it very soon! ^^ So yes, pretty much, I'm doing pretty well now. When I get home today, I'm planning to call Rissa so that I can get in touch with her about my birthday plans. ^^

Wednesday, August 20, 2008

Wednesday, Aug. 20

Yesterday was pretty much normal, and I had a bit of homework, so yeah. Also, until Thursday, Mrytu gets to come to the library with me and olomonkey to spend some time together after the day. I asked Mrytu why, and she said her mom had a meeting the rest of the week besides Friday, and that she got her mom to let her come to the library for about an hour. So, I'm pretty much enjoying the fact that Mrytu can stay for at least just a couple of days, because she can't come to the library usually.

Finally.... Bleach is going to be released today after a one-week hiatus because of summer break in Japan! I can't wait to see it tomorrow.
Today I had a lot of homework.... to the point that it rivaled even the homework from the first day, which is really saying something. I'm actually still doing it now, but since I remembered about this blog, I decided to take a break. I'm almost done with it now, though.

And you'll NEVER believe what I got in the mail today. Never. Well, let's just say that I love my cousins now. They live where a certain anime convention was that I REALLY wanted to go to last summer, but I just couldn't make it there. They were able to make it... and sent me a TON of things from the convention! Some things included four packs of some trading cards for two different card games (two packs for each card game), a gigantic bag, a souvenir book, a guide book to the events there, and more. I couldn't believe it- boy, do I have a long thank you to write now! I kind of want to call them AND write them. I'm pretty happy now! ^^~

Over the weekend and Monday

Over the weekend, I was busy fiddling with ROM-hacks of a game I've already recieved, played, and beaten a long time ago, and it was extremely entertaining seeing everything that game can do. That pretty much took up my -entire- weekend, to the point I didn't really sleep much or anything. It sounds silly, but if you saw how many options you had, you might be able to see where I was coming from. However, this resulted in my grandmother permanently confiscating both my iPod and my best headphones (that I got with my own money...) and she says that when my mother comes over for my birthday, she's sending them home with her. Which means that I will never get to see them again until Christmas. She also said that for now, I'm completely banned from playing (this fits many things) on the computer. I guess all I can say now is that it was good while it lasted.

Today, it was a pretty normal day..... except for the fact that I was dead tired with no energy because of la montha. (If you don't get it, don't worry about it.) It was also a queer day in that I have almost no homework, a blaring contrast from the first day of school, in which I had convinced myself that I'd probably get 4 homework assignments per day at the least. But, hey, the less the better. On to the next day!

Fourth Day of School

Sorry that I couldn't post yesterday- I just had more homework than usual. But basically, this school week is going absolutely great! I'm keeping up with my homework, and I'm getting more organized. I'm also making more updates more often and it really couldn't be better. Now I just need to get in touch with everyone for my birthday party.... Ahh! I have to go do that...... Well, things are pretty good, and that's about it! See you next post.

More Website Updates

Yes, I have been starting to update things much more frequently now. Since I have a whole period off at the end of school, I have more time to be able to fix things and update things like never before. I may even get more active on my other accounts! (Hopefully. ^_^) Homework, as I immediately noticed today, is being given much more frequently, although not necessarily harder. In fact, this is almost the easiest homework I've ever seen in high school. But it's bound to not last too long, I know it. They're just starting us off...... *cringe* Oh well. No matter how much homework I get, I'm more grateful to God for the free period than anything else that could bother me. Thank you, Lord!

First Day of Sophomore Year

Well, actually, it wasn't that bad. I thought it was going to be horrible, but it turned out to be pretty nice. All of my teachers are female, and they are all very nice, so I'm satisfied. I even have a free period for the last hour of school, so that gives me extra time to finish any homework that I have! However, one thing turned out wrong- one of my best friends has a different lunch period than her other friend and me. So, we're trying to work that out, and I'll definitely make sure she can have the same lunch period as us and we can all stay together!

Yes, I also had homework on the first day. I didn't expect to not have any, actually. I mean, it IS Sophomore year.

My birthday is in a few weeks, so I have to get ready for that, too. I plan to get together a few friends and Brawl with them, watch Bleach, eat, and have a great time. I'm still finding out who can come and who can't. My mother is also coming. (I'm going to attempt to make my mom try Brawl. I hope she likes it! XD)

So yeah. I still have a little homework left, and I took a break to write this, so I need to get back to it. See you next post!~

I found this on a website after I saw "Lifehouse Everything Drama" on GodTube. Trust me, it's good. I kind of got addicted to the song, too. ^^
